Garmin Nuvi 2595lmt Traffic Receiver Not Working

I had this issue once with my 2595.

Garmin nuvi 2595lmt traffic receiver not working. My existing gtm 36 receiver is not working. I called garmin and they replaced the cable no charge and added my optional total traffic subscription to it. Kudos to garmin for the never timeout on that erroneous error dialog that is so damn helpful. However ive noticed that the traffic cable is not even necessary simply remove the cable and it works just fine at least that is the experience on my nuvi 2598 lmt so this is a software glitch that is made visible by a faulty cable connection.

Question will the gtm 60 traffic receiver work with a garmin nuvi 2595 lm. Garmin nuvi 5 screen lifetime map and traffic updates land assist vehicle suction cup mount usb cable vehicle power adapter with traffic receiver gps portable. My nuvi 2555lmt doesnt work with this. If you have a garmin device with a traffic receiver but you are not receiving any traffic information there are a number of steps you can take to resolve the issue.

I believe it was probably worn or got messed up from all the connecting and removing over time.

Dont buy this if you are not sure im going to return this product. Asked 3 years ago by begood. Will the gtm 60 traffic receiver work with a garmin nuvi 2595 lm. Update the traffic receiver firmware using webupdater check to see that you are in a coverage area of your traffic subscription based upon the supplier.

But this one doesnt work. My existing gtm 36 receiver is not working. Traffic receiver is not working although in garmin website it is compatible with gmt 36.
